so i jus found out that my blog of yesterday did not post up on here.. so lemme try and recap real quick thank God got admitted to UTSA for an MSW program so far so good.. um what else countdown to my b'day whoo hoo and my mama is staying here for it :) um what else my heart goes out to the Iheme family may the Lord give you the strength to heal luv yall .. and what else still discovering San Antonio its an old city but pretty big gone to The Alamo Ripley's Haunted House.. and all well the last thing i will put up till my next blog is a note that means so much to me.....
There's gotta be more to life than chasing any temporary high to satisfy me..... Those words mean a lot when you think about it.The Bible quotes Luke 12 vs22-23 ,Therefore i tell you , do not be anxious about your life, what you should eat or what you shall eat or what you shall drink,nor about your body, what you shall put on,Is not life more than food,and the body more than clothing? .This is a good quote on Christian life, people seem to be the “flyest all times trying to fit in and impress or “stay fly which means looking rite all times, and want to be satisfied with what we have , there is so much more in the world ;example poverty-stricken countries, starving kids in third world continents , we need to have charities and help these people who really need basic amenities of life.All we can say is “I need to go and get those jeans.Okay! We need to focus on the good things in life, not what is perfect for us.
Another topic which is very out there in public now is IMMORTALITY,;1st Corinthians ch 6 vs 17-20 quotes that The Lord becomes one spirit with him.SHUN IMMORALITY, every other sin which a man commits is outside the body; but the immoral man sins against his own body.Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God.You are not your own you were bought with a price so glorify God in your body.Lately; feel like i have let myself become a victim of temptation,and letting myself look for what is wrong rather than what is right, this leads to my next topic, which is SEX,HIP-HOP AND VIOLENCE ,there is a lot of violence in the rap industry today; Sex is selling in videos,Video girls looking all glammed up , “rocking ice, thick thighs making young girls want to be in videos and look like them, not knowing it takes more than a pretty face to be in videos .R&B superstars now sing sexually raunchy lyrics about touching your spot or “take is slow “ or “make you scream , lyrics that give the young ones a different view on Sex , and giving it a new highly rated sense.Hip-hop is very influencing,and a phase people go through, every guy i meet wants to rap or become the next big thing ; and become rapstars not knowing what their lyrics really mean or what “beef really is; or instead having names like JAH or HOVA proclaiming they are God,or instead having lyrics like “Lucifer‿ or quoting the bible wit Rule 3:36 instead of what the bible says about John 3:16.I know okay! i love rap because it gets me jumping but that is what the Devil wants, to tempt you get you to be drawn into it, and become like that or get guys to use words like “nigga or “motherfucker,Young Jeezy's hit I Love It has the lyric "When i get to Hell ,Lord knows i am going to fry" when i heard dat had 2 think twice, or Weezy's Fireman wit "Take a walk with Satan" wats up wit dat it does not seem right; but on the lowdown we need to realize that there is something about the songs that make you tick or want to move ; next time you put a rap album or maybe an r& b album in your system, think about the lyrics and what you listen or hear and let it sink in I know i am guilty of listening to some rappers and becoming caught up and reciting lyrics to the point i feel like a female rapper.
One more thing is that ladies seem to be attractive at all times, and what to look so pretty even in the morning when they seem to look “scary,1st Timothy ch 2 vs 9-12;15 clearly states that Women should not adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in seemly apparel,not with braided hair or gold gold or pearls or costly attire but by good deeds , as befits women who profess religion .Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness permit no woman to teach or have authority over men; she is to keep silent;vs 15 Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in bearing children ; in FAITH,LOVE and HOLINESS,with MODESTY. This is very interesting bet you some of us ladies never knew about this one ,well it is clearly written in the holy book, you can afford to look good with$ 20 ,but no one believes ,we need $100 and above to get that one outfit to be the best.When will ladies see that we can still look pretty cheap if you know what i mean ?.
Sometimes Christians need to understand that life is not all about hip-hop or looking the best ,but to know whatever happens we need to serve and praise Jesus Christ our savior because he is coming like at a thief at night; when you least expect him so please let us be faithful and prepare for the Lord's coming.Thank You and have a blessed day Bye
